first RAIN drops added essence...

the first RA!N drops of this session kissed the earth...
though the traditional notion of rain in the western world is negative, rain can also bring joy, as some consider it to be soothing or enjoy the aesthetic appeal of it. in dry places, such as parts of Africa, India, and the Middle East, rain is greeted with euphoria.

I find the scent during and immediately after rain especially pleasant or distinctive. The source of this scent is petrichor, an oil produced by plants, then absorbed by rocks and soil, and later released into the air during rainfall.

exam (internal) is over today. when we were out of the hostel it started raining. we're wet in the first rain of this session. other people whose classes were over were running towards their hostels.

everyone runs in rain as if they have some important work and they're afraid of being wet, but I think this is only one excuse to be wet. I'm also not an exception, in my school days I also have missed my raincoat at home knowingly and I've came home wet after the school many times...

do me a favor, let's play HOLI...

4th March was HOL!, the festival of colors. HOL! is the festival that carries the country into the bright days of summer. A feeling of plenty is in the air with the crops cut, and the farmer enjoying a bountiful of harvest. 'HOL!' falls on the full moon, in the month of Phalgun. a time when spring is in the air. the March winds comes in and winter begins to bow out.
we had a lot of fun in our insti campus. then went to a nearby waterfall 'Gondahathi'.
enjoyed a lot...

I love to listen the music track, 'Do me a favor, Let's play HOL!'

wished all near & dears a colorful HOL! but as usual got about 1/3rd reply. this happens with me always. no regrets...

some friends came and pulled me out of my room, painted me with various colors. then we roamed around the campus. the idea was actually Mishra's to have trip to Gondahathi, then I arranged vehicles and went on the trip to have a bath. at about 4 o'clock we people came back to insti. back to our predefined schedule...

had classes on 5th. had to be prepared for the labs / classes.
these celebrations although not optimum, add flavours to our life in this island...
these add zest to the race of life...
